Conduct proxy editing

Trigger: Raw, high-resolution media files are ingested into the asset management system and queued for post-production workflows.

1. Ingest high-resolution source media
2. Transcode source media into low-resolution proxy files
3. Distribute proxy assets to offline editing workstations
4. Perform creative editing using proxy files
5. Generate the edit decision list or sequence file
6. Relink the offline sequence to the original high-resolution media

Outcome: A finalized edit sequence is successfully conformed to the original high-resolution files for color grading and final delivery.
