Schedule production

Trigger: The process begins when a master production plan or firm customer order requires execution scheduling on the manufacturing floor.

1. Review master production schedule and resource availability
2. Generate detailed daily production and lot schedules
3. Integrate planned and unplanned maintenance into the schedule
4. Create and assign lot numbers to production orders
5. Release final production orders to the shop floor

Outcome: The process concludes when detailed production orders, lots, and maintenance tasks are fully scheduled and released to the shop floor.
